I love drinks. I love coffee, tea, wine, cocktails, mocktails, infused waters, water water, all of them! So when I am trying to clean up my diet and stuff it full of goodness, I look to drinks as well.
After finding a list of the top 15 anti-inflammatory foods, I went to work and found a couple of super healing beverages.
First is this awesome Anti-Inflammatory Blueberry Smoothie. It includes 3 of the ingredients on the list: Leafy greens, bok choy and blueberries! And see that red in there? That’s cayenne. Super good for your metabolism and although it wasn’t on my list, still lists anti-inflammation as a health benefit.

This stuff is STRONG! I enjoyed it after the shock, but I am used to drinking strong flavored things (i.e. Kombucha). It’s warmth and Fall-ish flavor did seem to calm me and was very satisfying on the cool morning I drank it. It’s strength did make it feel like my insides were healing immediately though! Do not drink the last few sips as all the powder collects at the bottom and is thick.
But you don’t have to go to any lengths to up the healthiness in your drink choices. Even something as simple as adding a squeeze of fresh lemon to your water can help your system.
